This was my first multi day motorcycle trip that I’ve ever done, while I was still leaving and working in Calgary, Alberta. I’ve chosen to venture off and explore British Columbia as I’ve heard from many coworkers (and especially from a bartender that I’ve befriended) how scenic and lush British Columbia was, and how suited the roads were for an enjoying motorcycle ride.
At the time I was going through changes both personally, as I was going through a divorce, and also professionally, as I transitioned from one hotel department to another (Food and Beverage to Rooms). This could have been the beginning of my mid-life changes (not really and ever a crisis :)), as within a year I was to change countries (and continents), with my transfer to the Park Hyatt Sydney, Australia.
